On Friday, 7 June 2019, Chelmsford Film Festival will open its doors for the third year running at Everyman at Bond Street. 

Now working in association with One Chelmsford, 2019 promises to be the biggest and best year yet.

A night not to be missed!! 

Opening night sees us present our most prestigious award for "Outstanding

Contribution to British Cinema". In 2017, we presented this to

Alice Lowe and in 2018, the award was presented to Julian Glover.

In 2019,  we are delighted to present the award to the legendary

ALAN FORD (Snatch, Toast of London, American Werewolf in London), followed by a live interview and Q&A with Alan.

Following a short break, we will then screen 2019’s selected feature film

The Fight written, directed and starring JESSICA HYNES (Spaced,

Shaun of the Dead, The Royle Family).

All opening night guests will receive a free CFF canvas goodie bag with gifts, offers and a complimentary Everyman ticket.

Guests will also receive a free invite for the closing gala

and awards ceremony on 8 June.

A full day of networking at Everyman’s luxurious bar and

screenings of all CFF2019's officially selected films.  

25 films from all our award categories, screened over 5  sessions and followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.  

A day not to be missed by any film lover!
